Analysis of Pranahuti experiences from 1,116 aspirants across 34 trainers, demonstrating that the same Divine force works through all qualified trainers.
Introduction
Pujya Sri Ramchandraji Maharaj of Shahjahanpur, U.P., India, in the article “Method of Training” says that “Every transmission from the preceptor, even if given with a lack of confidence in himself, will give light to the abhyasi, whether the latter feels it or not is due to lack of sensitivity, because the one and the same force is working in all of us.” (SDG Pg 54, 2006 Edition)
The Institute of Sri Ramchandra Consciousness is conducting training programs on Pranahuti Aided Meditation, which are of two-day duration at various centres in India and abroad. In the training programs theoretical classes on the principles, meditational methods and other aspects of P.A.M are elucidated along with conduct of practical meditational sessions by a qualified adept (trainer) of ISRC called as Guided Meditation.
In the meditation session, a taste of Pranahuti is given to the practicants and their experiences are recorded. Pranahuti is an act of internal Divine will of a capable person who is committed to the progress of the aspirant in the spiritual path without any personal/selfish motive. It does not require words or touch. Pranahuti is offering (ahuti) of thought (prana) done through silent suggestions.
Prana is Experienced As

- Balanced Condition — felt as Calmness, Quiet, Absorbency, Blankness, Single-Pointedness, Stillness
- Freedom — felt as Relaxation, Freshness, Lightness, Clarity, Expansion, Purity, Weightlessness
- Life Activity — felt as Vibrations, Flow, Jerks, Light, Brightness, Colours, Heat, Coolness
- Aspiration — felt as Selfless Thoughts, Thoughts on the Goal of Life, Confidence to Practise
Study
This report presents factual data from meditational experiences of aspirants who participated in guided meditation sessions during training programs from August 2002 to July 2007 conducted at Imperience, Hyderabad. During this period, 1,116 persons participated in guided meditations and 34 trainers conducted the sessions.
The number of guided meditation reports per trainer varied from 2 to 132 with an average of 33. The percentage of reports where participants felt the effect of Pranahuti per trainer varied from 77% to 100% with an average of 91%.
Conclusion
34 trainers have conducted guided meditation sessions and there are totally 1,116 guided meditation reports. 1,016 (91%) reports expressed prana being felt as one of the classified feelings. 100 (9%) reports could not express any specific feelings, possibly due to the aspirants lacking in sensitivity.
The breakdown of felt experiences:
- Freedom — 510 (45.70%)
- Happiness — 271 (24.28%)
- Balanced Condition — 204 (18.28%)
- Life Activity — 30 (2.69%)
- Aspiration — 1 (0.09%)
It is concluded that transmission from any trainer has been felt by the aspirant because the one and the same force is working in all the trainers.
